The USPS will issue six nondenominated Spectrum Eagle coil stamps on 3 January 2012.
The stamps will sell for 25ยข each in the self-adhesive format.

The USPS is set to increase the postal rate to 42 cents next week on May 12. This last increase was a year ago on May 14 2007 from 39 cents to 41 cents.
A Postal Service official in Washington said the value of unused postage in the hands of the public is estimated at more than $1 billion.
