UK Regional Stamps

To mark the 50th anniversary of the first country definitive stamps to be issued in the UK, Royal Mail re-issued a sheet of nine original Scottish, Welsh and Northern Ireland country definitive designs.

A special Prestige Stamp Book entitled the Regional Definitives with text written by Douglas Muir. The book present a history of the design and development of these stamps.

60th Anniversary of the Farnborough Air Show stamps

This set of 6 stamps, issued 17 July,  commemorates 100 years of Uk’s first powered flight.

St. Paul’s Cathedral stamps from Royal Mail

The set of stamps, using specially commissioned photographs, shows the interior of six of the United Kindgom’s most beautiful cathedrals. The interior of St. Paul’s is shown in the miniature sheet.

The six cathedrals show are:  1st class – Lichfield; 46p Belfast;  48p – Gloucester; 54p – St David’s;  69p – Westminster;  78p – St Magnus.
