This beautiful set of stamps and first day cover will certainly delught cat lovers and cat stamp collectors.
Cute and cuddly is the theme of these tropical cats of Vanuatu. Cats come in many colours in Vanuatu and are as lovable and popular as any of the cousins the world over. The lush backdrop of tropical flowers adds to the appeal of the stamps.

The Falkland Islands released a set of 4 stamps and miniature sheet featuring petrels and shearwaters on July 6.

Singapore will be issuing a set of six stamps and a miniature sheet on 4 August 2010 to commemorate the nation’s National Day on 9 August.
The values are 1st Local, 2nd Local, 55¢, 65¢, 80¢, $1.10. The miniature sheet have a stamp of $2 value.

First-Day-of-Issue dedication ceremony of the Sunday Funnies 44-cent Commemorative First-Class stamps will be held at The Ohio State University,
Performance Hall at the Ohio Union on Friday 16 July 2010. The event is free and open to the public.
The Sunday Funnies pane of 20 stamps honors five of the nation’s most beloved comic strips: Archie, Beetle Bailey, Dennis the Menace, Garfield and Calvin and Hobbes.
The U.S. Postal Service Governors on Tuesday proposed a 2-cent increase in the price of a first-class stamp, bringing the cost to 46 cents.
This proposed increase will be the second in two years. Last year, mail sent declined 17% .
Despite cost cutting measures, including the axing of 50,000 employees announced earlier this year, the post service is projecting a $7 billion deficit in the next fiscal year.
The change, if approved, will go into effect on January 2, 2012 is expected to raise $2.3 billion for the first nine months.
“There is no one single solution to the dire financial situation that the Postal Service faces,” Postmaster General John E. Potter said in a statement. “These proposed rate adjustments are moderate and part of a fair and balanced approach to insuring mail service for all Americans well into the future.”

The Royal Mail will be issuing a set of 10 stamps on 27 July 2010 to commemorate the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. This is the second in a series of three issues, the first was released in 2009.
Also to be released on the same date will be a retail booklet containing 4 Machin 1st class definitives and the Rowing and Table Tennis Olympic stamps.

To be released on 7 July 2010 is set of 3 stamps and miniature sheet by Niue. It looks similar to the set and miniature sheet to be issued by New Zealand Post also on 7 July. Both these two issues are designed by Stamps & Collectables Business of New Zealand Post.
The die-cut miniature depicts the Hypolimnas antilope.


Come July 7, New Zealand Post will be issuing the 81st annual Children’s Health stamps.
The die-cut miniature sheet takes the shape of a monarch butterfly. The 50c + 10c surcharge (pictured left) shows the boulder copper (Lycaena boldenarum) is issued in self-adhesive format and the gummed version is only available in the miature sheet.
