The Alexander Reid Collections of Antigua, Cayman Islands and Ceylon was offered in an auction by Spink on 11 March 2010. There were several spectacular results particularly the Cayman 1907 ½D Provisional which sold for £74,970 against an estimate of £30,000-40,000.
A copy of the 1908 Provisional 2½D on 4d brown with a double surcharge realised £46,890 against the pre-sale estimate of £18.000-22,000.
