A new stamp issue titled Britain Alone will be released 13 May to commemorate the period between the defeat of France in 1940 and the German invasion of Russia in 1941 when Britain and the Commonwealth stood alone against the axis powers.
Eight stamps and a miniature sheet containing four different stamp designs will be on sale.
